Enisca L. Jones, Author, Illustrator, Story Teller!
Having always been an avid reader, Enisca is no stranger to a good book. She feels that books transport us to other worlds and take us out of stressful situations. However, she never thought that she would be a writer, or the one to write children's books.
So imagine her shock when I came to her as a story idea in a dream!
Anya's Stories are unique, as they appeal to children and adults because of the practical lessons taught. The stories attempt to get the message across that we should not forget the child within and sometimes he/she just needs to come out and play. The stories are not only fun but they also teach valuable lessons.
Did you know that Enisca drew all the pictures in the books and on this site? That is amazing and totally cool isn't it!
" Anya has been a labor of love and perseverance. I hope these stories encourage, uplift and inspire you to explore, discover and continue on your quest.” Enisca L. Jones
Enisca has not stopped here, she is in the process of developing other stories. One of her up and coming stories is about a turtle, I can't wait for that one to come out! Stay tuned, there are many more adventures to come!
Enisca L. Jones was born in the Bahamas on the Island of New Providence where she currently lives. She is always careful to give God the credit for Anya`s Stories because they came directly to her from Him. She is humbled to have been given such an amazing gift to bring to the world and will do her best to continue writing and illustrating the stories as long as they are given to her.
Little by little, taking each step and following the path that He has laid out, Anya is taking her first steps out into a world, filled with complications, with a very simple message:
"Relax it isn't that serious. Come out and play!|

TESTIMONIALS!
"This book series is quite inspiring! As a parent, I watched the excitement in the eyes of my children, and the interest as I asked them questions about the book we read. The book, "Treasure the Memories" has been truly heart warming, and encouraging. It has been an answer to prayer for us as to how we can continue to celebrate the legacy of those gone home to Glory! I truly thank the author for being obedient to God!" RaMona Bethell
Book Review
"Enisca Jones’ Anya series brings to life a much needed character children can associate with when dealing with ‘tings Bahamian’. Through her candid, curious approach to culture, life, relationships, education and every day events, Anya serves as a literary catalyst to things of ‘tings Bahamian’, which children can identify with.
After reading three of the books in prepublication, and sharing it with my own seven year-old daughter, I feel that the Anya series has tremendous potential to encourage appreciation for literary arts amongst youngster. This in turn creates an atmosphere that can certainly bridge the gap many students face when finding something to engage, thereby encouraging their reading efforts. Due to the demographic targeted, the Anya series also comes right before that ‘danger zone’ when many students somehow slip throw the cracks and leave primary/elementary school without the proper foundation for reading."
